I was  getting error:

  CApath: none
 in /c/website/playlists-0.5/login/sdb.php on line 838

The solution is to turn off verify

// create connection
 $sdb = new SimpleDB(awsAccessKey, awsSecretKey);  
 // apb for readynas
 $sdb->enableVerifyHost(false);
 $sdb->enableVerifyPeer(false);
